I was here in 1978 while serving on the USS Chicago CG-11 and we were here on a port visit. I remember having the Officer-Of-The-Deck watch while mooring and we blew some smoke out the stack while backing down which raised a ruckus with the locals. I remember having to hold off several local news camera teams at the brow because of the incident. We made the local news. I was also stationed on Treasure Island 1966-67. and again 1969-73.

Yes its 1967, the tunel in the beginning is the "Felbertauerntunnel" southside from Mittersill, completed in 1967.

Does anyone have any photos from National Industrial Exhibition (Qomi Sanati Numaish) that use to be held in Islamabad (near Faizabad) each Year-End and use to last for around a month or so!! . I believe it started somewhere in mid 80s and the last one was in mid 90s. If anyone has photos please share/contact me. Thanks,
