You pay the normal state taxes when purchasing the supplies but nothing extra on top of that.

One of the nicest beaches is just to the right of the Cut! The big houses around there don't want people going on it but there's still ways...it's a stunning beach that very few know about. Shame about the houses issue. kzbin.info/aero/PLMWUnK15Vmms0y8M13HVxFy012ryH9lC6

It just really depends on what material your buying. Some cheaper in the states and vise versa.

The majority of our materials came from the US. I did buyer few items such as cabinets and furniture in Nassau.

I have a seafront plot on Bahamas Sound 11 W. We have a topsider that needs renovating. Also have a plot of seafront land opposite crab cay next to February Point that I am looking to build on. Can you build your own cabinets on site to save on the duties, vat? What are the fees for importing the raw materials for it?

Hi. Yes you can, no problem at all. And all the wood materials are duty free. VAT at 10% will be assessed if materials come from the US plus freight. Hardware will have duty but since cost is low it shouldn’t be much. Great question. Thanks for the sub!!

So Beautiful!🌊🌺🌞 Exuma water is just Dreamy. These Colors are ALL my favorites. I love the steel drum music. This place looks really fun! How nice of you and Bambi to put this all together for possible builders. Yay! One thing I immediately think of are the hurricanes. Is this a concern at all? Have there been any major storm systems or is Exuma off the beaten path for hurricanes? Is there planning for that too? Storm shelters? Do people just buy tons of supplies and generators? Solar power? I would love to be in this bracket but it's way out of my league-still, I love these segments you both put together, as one always needs something to Dream Big about. Hi. Thank you for watching!! Hurricanes are definitely a concern but Exuma has been blessed with very few of them. We live on the Gulf Coast so we deal with hurricanes so its normal for us. We do have a small generator but solar panels are our next expense. I appreciate your support!! We'll keep pushing forward
