My Dad was and is a Manual shooter.. He had a film Nikon (80s) and it took him forever to set everything up. The most memorable pictures I have from my past are Polaroids or from other people with basic film compact cameras. Point and shoot, capturing the moment. Thats what makes those great memory pictures. Choosing the right film (ISO) kodak, fuji, whatever and choosing the right development company, size, matte or glossy was much more important back then.. haha

Great video! I was basically always using P mode with my pocket cameras. We are talking about the typical Canon, Panasonic, Nikon ultra compact cameras from 2005 to 2015 in the price range of 100 to 200 $ or whenever they stopped making them. With these cameras there is no aperture control. It was fixed and you got less light when you zoomed. Simple. I understand the importance of aperture, however for normal people pictures is this really so important? I dont have a single picture where others might think: Oh this picture would be nicer if the background would be more or less blurred. Nobody cares.. 🙂 However I always played around with the ISO setting and the white balance. ISO i knew from film. You chose a certain ISO film depending on your planned surrounding. Thats what I am doing with my fixed ISO setting. White balance: I love to use a fixed white balance, so all pictures have the same color balance. So the only thing that the camera adjusts is shutter speed. And that you can also overrule with the exposure compensation. Now I have a D40 and I use it the exact same way. I dont worry about aperture that much. I care much about the color setting, the white balance and the right ISO. The rest I let handle the camera. 🙂

Hello sir I use nikon d3400 with kit lens 18-55 and 70-300 without external flash. But i was facing every time in low light my picture not getting expose well. Actually when ever i try to shoot ambient light mein subject become under expose and when fixing exposure triangle my bg become overexpose ( ambient light ) how to manage subject and bg without destroying ambient light. My next question for you should i buy cheap flash without ttl or buy godox v860lll ? Please suggest according to my requirement. Last question if i wanna upgrade my camera nikon full frame camera or i buy sony Full frame ? If i buy sony or some other camera so i skip buying godox v860 lll Nikon version because it useless for sony Please suggest what should i go for ? Or should i invest on lens ? If yes please suggest. According to my need 18-140 is best to go but its aperture value goes to 4.5. Yor suggestion is really appreciated sir waiting for your reply 🙏
