Not entire true jumping spiders are arboreal that is true sir they likely to find a home high up or however you have the enclosure set up but some make their web tunnel where ever seems to be a nicer more comfy arrangement. All of mine have hides and they do make hammock up above but I also have my biggest where she made a her little tunnel of webbing to sleep in between two leafs and I’d say is half way in the middle of the enclosure. But most do make their home up above.

I had probably 10 of these and she's the only one that survived. They seem to like it warmer when they're small. Around 90 or so. Once she got bigger I kept her like I do everything else. Room temperature. Mist her enclosure once a week and feed her every couple weeks. She has died since this video was made so now I have no more elegans. But I still have 2 other species of widow

I purchased from him about a month ago. I talked to him on phone before he shipped my girl. The picture showed a mostly white gravid female with some peach on top. What I got was a regular light color Regal. When talking to him on phone he said he had thousands & it took him 12 hours one day a week to feed them. When I got her in a timely manner with pretty good packaging she was starving. The minute she was in her new house I gave her one of my blue bottle flies. She jumped on it immediately. Ok, so I suspected that. but she keep eating and eating for over a week. I have probably over 2 dozen gravid females at any one time. None of them eat like this. I felt so sorry for her as I hate to see anything hungry. she finally settled down and is eating regular now. Which I am happy about. The one thing that upset me is I gave her a wax worm around the second day and the next morning it was all black and she still had it in her mouth. my girlfriend said see if I could take it from her, no matter how hard I pulled she would not let it go. After a few hours she did and I went back that day to giving her blue bottle flies. I called Robert up and told him she was not what i ordered and of course he went on so much about 100 % it was. i was going to put in a claim with paypal but I was so worried that he would want her back I did not do it. I would of not been able to live with myself if I thought she had to go back with him. Moral to story, stay clear of him. He is good advertiser and makes you think he is big company, but he has no reviews other than mine he erased & I have searched for them but haven't found just one on his site which is a few years old I think. My friend showed me how he could of changed her picture to make her lighter that she is. (Nice you got one I had tried to buy)

TBH, I have about 10 survivors from the hatched high white sac I bought fr him. They're still pretty small but a few of them appear to be getting that white color. The gravid high white female I bought from him looks more peach or cream

As for taking their food when they aren’t done when they are feeding the bite the prey the input their venom that melt the bug insides into a milkshake and then then reduce it back up now feeding cane take a whole day to a couple hours depends on size and species. And a lot of the time they will feed on a wax worm for a whole day and they will only take in what the need they won’t over feed their self. So you don’t have to regulate how much wax worm they slurp just because the worm is black don’t mean anything the reason the worm is black is because the venom js done is job by liquifying the insides of the wax worm the color of the worms doesn’t not mean is rotted over night that quick. It’s not possible esp since think of what the eat wild they eat what they need and discard the carcass. As well as when you feed your spider you should be doing it in separate container unless you have a bio active set up where you have spring tails eating what they don’t use. As well as help keep it mold free from rotating body in the bottom for he enclosure. I also wouldn’t recommend trying to take their food just because you think it taste gross and don’t look delicious don’t mean it’s not for them. They will put the food down when they have gotten every last bit out. And how can you generally know how much that worm can offer when you’ve never suck on worm for it juices. 😅😅😅js
