Thanks for putting this video up. I spent 11 years living in Bathurst. It was a great town to live in.

We planned ahead, we were relocating a rental 6 berth camper van, we entered SA near Mildura way, we told the inspector we had a stone fruit on-board and maybe he should come inside and check out the fridge, after a thourough check. He concluded we were nice travellers after taste checking a few VB’s on our behalf, he appreciated our concern, you don’t want to come down with beer poisoning in the backwoods, cheers fella,thanks for the chat mate. Made his midday a whole lot better.

authorities worried about fruit fly entering state and could damage farms.

NO, THIS IS NOT NICE! Because of nothing more than greed this natural landscape will be changed for hundreds of years if not more, and that's assuming the mining company is held accountable to repair/restore the local environment as much as possible. But history has repeatedly shown that they're not held accountable, and just move on to other places they can pillage in the name of the almighty dollar (or pound or euro). All to keep stockholders happy and make rich people richer
@Sightingseeing6 ай бұрын
whole WA is like this. They do only one Business that is ‘Mining’

just came across this .... spent my high school at Scots School, 84-89. Remembering those good old times. Even the cafe across from the town hall. I missed my Speech day so I ended up by myself in a cafe waiting for it to end. The names changed from the looks of it. Heaths Cafe I think it was. Was an overseas student at the time. Good old memories for sure........
