I remember playing with paper dolls. Hours of cutting! I remember getting irritated when the clothes wouldn't stay on. The little tabs on the clothes weren't that great! lol! Amazing the cat made it all the way home with a broken back. Talk about overcoming a handicap! I wonder how far he had to come. Poor kitty. Glad you were able to end his suffering. I think kids that are raised with pets are better humans as adults. Just my theory. Hugs!

Amy, I think you should draw your own paper dolls and clothes since you love doing that type of thing and you could even make grungy ones

Great prompts Amy. Paper dolls were the best, I saw some in antique store and they wanted a lot of money for them. I wish I could have saved mine.

Cicada wing is exactly that. I guess texture similar. But it's made from very fine wood particles. It's so soft. I also got it on a roll with a lighter shade of tan. It's just so very cool. Just love love it!!

Good morning Amy ! Love the projects today . As a kids I loved paper dolls and cats too 😁, I’d cut up magazines and make my own , hours of fun…! We had a cat like Thumper his name was Cat my sister and I would dress him up and then put him in a doll stroller and we’d go for walks 😂

Oh my goodness! 😱A window envelope template!! 🤯genius!!👌🏻 And, I couldn't agree more - schools DEFINITELY need to bring back more art activities. Definitely. As you said, for some kids, that may be the only thing that they excel at. And kids NEED that boost of self-esteem. Just as art can be a form of therapy for adults, it can be the same for children. ALL children. Without having the opportunity to discover that for themselves, they may struggle for years not knowing that art can help them. So, yea, I am 100% in agreement with what you said regarding art in schools.

Hey first time watching it was great no sewing in signatures you did a great job thanks on to part 2

PS you can see what I’m referencing long before 23:34 but to the left side of the piece there’s a piece of beige and pink with a black mark between the two. My eye sees the figure of a woman with a saucy posture and an exclamation mark near her head. She has somethin’ to say! 😂❤

Just finished the first vid and watching this one. Great techniques and results!! You mentioned having difficulty finding a video you watched. I find those illusive videos in “liked videos” (if I ‘liked’ them) or in my history. Searching in general a part of the video title or name of creator/channel if remembered may help. You may already know of these things. Just thought I’d mention in case you don’t. And you’re right, how/why some vids get in the home feed I’ll never understand. Except for being pushed w/o regard to your interests. You mentioned heat- I’m in Central Texas and it was 102°F with heat index of 114°F the other day. Just like an oven! HOT!!! I can’t imagine all the fires and smoke around the West Coast. Between weather and events - scary stuff! Anyway. I’m still watching the vid. It’s getting GRUNgy for sure now. 😮😊.
