First of all, If the Patients plan is either HMO or POS, we need to enquire rep, whether they accept back-dated referral, then only we should ask for PCP information. If back dated referral is not possible, need to bill the patient.

Who is responsible for following up with PCP, after getting PCP's name and phone number on call. Is the AR caller responsible for a follow-up? If yes, should contact the PCP immediately after the call? Is any team responsible for this job from the client's end? What information should we have from our end before reaching out to PCP? What information did we need to get from PCP? Is the Referral number alone enough or do we have to check its validity?
