Awesome stuff -- I'm just getting to know the bass player's work, but I already dig the rest of you guys. Amazing soloing, just crazy enough to be perfect.

She's a fabulous player, there's a vid on here of her playing with Allison Krause 10 years ago when she was a little girl and she was a prodigy!! Even more impressively, when Mark O'Connor went up to Berklee School of Music, there she was, playing to the obvious delight of her classmates and Mr. O'Connor. Make no mistake, this is one very talented, very smart young person who's going to contribute a lot to our lives over the next (hopefully) 40 years. I'd like her even if she was a guy!

@jmcgann00 I suppose she is so tiny that it just looks like a mandola. Would love to hear her live sometime. Sierra, come to SF or North of SF soon. Love the mosquito comment.

She is wonderful. Isn't that a mandola??

Excellent, that is just outstanding! Steve Howe was one of my 1st guitar heroes, always so impressed by his total musicianship, you obviously are from the same school!

Excellent, man! I actually like the sound of it better on the octave mandolin than on the guitar..... maybe this is because it brings a freshness to a piece that I've heard and seen performed countless times in my life.... or maybe it's just because it sounds better this way! Whatever. Great job!

This makes me wish that I could have gone into music and studied with him. Too much of a time warp issue now. Great work on the bass also. Thanks for posting and making this available.

What a nice thing to find. Sierra, I hope you are finding freedoms to be doing a lot more like this, any directions as they appeal to you, and as comes to feel right, bring into your band.

Hi Matt. As we say in LA, "I could play that if I wanted to." We do want to. You got pretty far outside on that one. Regards from the Statmen (Dawg band)

I love it but the fiddle player went somewhere on his first trip that he couldn't find a ride back from. That will happen from time to time. I aint throwing off! Improvisation has led me down a dead end street before. I'm sure he gets it. He is one hell of a player just for trying something different. All of you are great! John Mcgann you have my respect. Berklee is doing something right!!
