I found damien jurados music at about 2am probably 14 yrs ago on the late night with Carson Daly, he was playing Rachel and Cali . Been had him om my playlist for the longest now. . I get lost in this shit still.

Took my 14 year old son when he came to town. We caught him in Asheville, NC at the Gray Eagle in 2022. We walked in and BOOM....10 feet in front of us just chilling eaten a sandwich, and drinking an Anchor Steam. Decided to let him eat in peace, and maybe down the road an opportunity will come up. That night is a show/setlist we will never forget. Never in a million years was I expecting a "Rachel and Cali." A very special song for me.. Then came out with a "Morning Dew Encore!!!" Man....We love him.

damien said he was leaving spotify due to unfair streaming pay. He felt that spotify was ripping off artists.

hes removed all the music he has full rights to from all music platforms, if you want them on spotify youd have to buy digital copies from his website and load them on to your computer then add them from the local files part of spotify
