Apparently, someone from COINTELPRO never got over him getting away. He was labeled by the State as a threat to national security from within the federal government. He's lucky they didn't just kill him.

This brother and Malcolm X should be a lesson to us all. You can't walk back everything you say simply because you have had some kind of spiritual awakening. The State could care less about that. If you have been labeled as a threat to National Security; nothing you say or do can ever change that. You are just better off keeping your mouth shut if you don't really mean it.

I feel very very confident that IF HE had came under OUR MESSENGER the one sent to him in his language he would not be in state control today. Why didn't "Orthodox Islam advocate for THIS BLACK AMERICAN FREEDOM FIGHTING MUSLIM?? Farrakhan would have taught him how to not destroy himself with his own words. This is sad. I understand your frustration with his answer but there's nothing about the NOI that would've magically stopped the Imam from being a political prisoner. You may remember Elijah Muhammad himself was a political prisoner for a time because of his anti-war stance.

Can Muslims be saved? The short answer is Yes, they can be saved. Anyone can be saved if he is willing to repent and place his faith in God through Jesus Christ. The Scriptures say that the gospel is “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). Thus, salvation is freely offered-but it must be received by means of faith. If one refuses to believe in Christ-as He is presented in the Scriptures-then he cannot be saved. The Muslim refuses to believe that Jesus died for our sins. They think that this would be beneath that of a Prophet of God. Yet, the only way that one can be saved from sin is to firmly believe that Jesus died for our sins. This shows that the unbelieving Muslim cannot be saved from sin. In the same book, Paul the apostle, says, “The word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God” (1 Corinthians 1:18). Elementary students of Islam know that the Muslim refuses to believe that Jesus died on a cross. They would say that a substitute (perhaps Judas) died on the cross but they think that it is unthinkable that Jesus, the “Prophet” of Allah, actually died a despicable and shameful death on a Roman cross. As the verse above says, this “word of the cross is foolishness” to the Muslim, and thus the unbelieving Muslim is “perishing” rather than receiving salvation. We are living in the dispensation of the grace of God, by believing and trusting the gospel of salvation (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) given to our Apostle Paul by Jesus Christ you are saved and sealed with the holy Spirit of promise till the day of redemption!!! Ephesians 1:13 - King James Version 13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Romans 2:16 - King James Version 16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
