Kiwi here, I once found a big black backed gull on our farm with a broken wing it must of flown into a powerline or something, anyway I caught it and just like this the bastard pecked and bit the hell out of me I had to tape it's beak to stop it pecking me, we took it to our vet who tried to reset the wing then taped it to its body, I looked after it for about 2 or 3 months feeding it fish everyday, after the 2 or 3 months we took it to the beach and carefully untaped the wing to let it go, the wing had either not mended or it had lost the muscle power to use it the gull ran off into the sea with its wing still hanging down looking useless, we couldn't catch it again, I was pretty bummed out to see it's wing still looked no good, but anyway I did the best I could to help it.

NZ Regular forces had no place here. These guys are veterans. Kids here are born into war. That is nothing of the sort here in NZ. Only our elite had a chance here. Provided they are under command by proper leadership. War is hell.
