To propel a pellet at any given velocity takes the same amount of air.. Either a short burst of high pressure or longer burst of lower pressure.. If you can increase the hammer spring tension and gain velocity means that at your current setting you are not releasing all the air in the plenum.. Higher hammer settings release more air from the plenum.. Higher regulator setting will make the regulator more efficient.. With higher regulator setting you may not get as many shots on the regulator simply because you come off the regulator at a higher pressure (2000 psi vs 1500 psi), but you may get more usable shots after you come off the regulator.. Larger plenums benefit because you release less air from the plenum and the left over air helps to close the output valve, with less chance of blow by and wasted air. For example if you release 50% there is still 50% left to help close the output valve, if you release 90% that means only 10% is left to help close the valve and is vulnerable to blow by, where the fast air rushing in to fill the plenum gets past the regulator and plenum because the output valve has not fully closed.. Once the output valve has closed then the regulator will close once it reaches its pressure setting, thus filling the plenum..

Never heard of the Sumatra . I have a Dragon Claw and it's now my favorite rifle , and I have a lot of them , some even far more powerful , but , I love the fact that it looks like an old school rifle .

My Sumatra do not decompress while decompressing the filling station before removing the filling probe.

Not “modular “ if the trigger group is NEVER available! You can’t change from a bull pup without it!

Proper setting for regulator and hammer spring is 10% less than max velocity.. So if your goal is to shoot 18.13 grain .22 pellets at 880 fps then you need to set up for max velocity of 978 fps turning the regulator up and the hammer spring up so that any increase in hammer spring does not yield any more velocity.. Once you reach the 978 fps then back the hammer spring off 10% so that your velocity is now 880 fps.. This will dump 90% of the air in the plenum, it will stop any blow by from the main air supply and make your regulator operate more accurately.. Plenum size is not as critical as some may lead you to believe.. It is like the bell curve on a non-regulated air gun where on the front side of the bell curve you have a short burst of high pressure and on the other side of the apex you have a long burst of lower pressure, both will yield the same velocity, because the volume of air is about the same.. Some of this is snake oil designed to get some bucks from your wallet, but offering little to no benefit.. A side note - sometimes people think that they need to turn the regulator up for more velocity when in fact turning it down can give faster velocity because the hammer has an easier task of opening the output valve with the lower pressure.. But lowering the regulator pressure too much can cause influence from the main air supply and you will get blow by because the valve is open too far and for too long, completely emptying the plenum and allowing in rushing air from the main source to by pass the regulator and output valve thus causing inconsistent pressures to the pellet..

Wynand help my asb reg as ek verkeerd is, ek het ook die Avenge-X. Ek is seker standaard sal hy n 25grain slug skiet tussen 800 - 900 FPS. Is daai nie genoeg krag om te jag met n 25grain slug nie? Then again.. jy kan dieselfde wild jag met n 23 grain slug of pellet. Mind you.. ek weet van ouens wat rooibokke skiet met 18.13 grain heavys. Iemand vertel my die week sy pel het n Kudu bul plat geskiet op 30 meter met die 18.13 grain. Obviously n goeie kop skoot. Ek hou myne standard. Sal like as jy reply met jou denke. Blessings Mnr.

Hey…I’d like to know some details here. How about telling how much that chassis costs? How about the price on the upgraded gear on the rifle? I’ll wager that entire outfit you’re touting is nearing $2,000 USD. The Delta Force company doesn’t list the prices on their page…I’ve seen that they’re nearly $1,000 for the chassis alone. Were you given any of that gear or did you pay for it all out of your pocket? Be up front about it all.

Just found your channel my ex was a Badger at least by name actually by nature to, a very nasty bite. Anyway that aside your video was lots of fun and full of humour safety pins to me = nappies, and 650 fpe wow that is powerful. There must be something wrong with the trigger if you are having to turn off the safety AFTER every shot. I have a Fenix 400 star, the short carbine barrel version, shoots really well knocks spots of that one of yours, powerful and accurate but it is a springer maybe that makes the difference I did have the standard length barrel for a while never shot well so I sold it, so perhaps this gun was destined to be a carbine there again the Fusion shoots well ?? Now just confusing myself, so I repeat my Fenix shoots great enough said.

I’m not sure I understand. I was going to buy FX Impact Mark 3 but it’s really expensive in Canada. I found a really good deal on a Mk2. I’m not clear on a few things. Does the Mk2 come with dual regulators from the factory like the MK3 or do you have to upgrade it? Does the addition of a larger power plenum produce more consistent shots and more shots per fill or does it have to be installed in conjunction with a dual regulator?
