Don't worry, it's crystal. As an MPC veteran I feel your over explaining as a matter of fact, but maybe that's good for a lot of the youngens.

Your content is pure gold! I am trying to wrap my head around your whole setup. Ive been producing for like 20 years purely in the box and I am very curious to know why you work with an older MPC instead of Live 2 or the X etc. Ive heard some people use a new MPC and they process the samples through an SP303 or sth to still have that grit available. What are your thoughts on older MPC's versus SP303 and 404? They both add saturation but different kind of flavors right? Also not to forget.. What's that little synth making the siren sounds called?? Thanks!
@bonafidebeatz2016 күн бұрын
whats good bro - I use the older MPC due to workflow limitations, and the sound that it curates. I have the Live as well, great sound as well, but nothing beats the older MPC's for simplicity and sound. Both the older MPCs, and SPs are great, just depends on workflow. The SP303 is great but they've gone up in value, that it would make sense to go with the SP 404 MK2. way more features and a sequencer - more bang for your buck honestly. The little box is a dubsiren. they sell em on etsy in different variations.

Damn that DBX is fast, at the end (before you cut the video) it caught Every One of the kicks when you stuttered it. Congrats on the new purchase. As far as your mike is concerned, it sounds great no matter where you are positioned in your working area. I know you're used to it but, you don't have to lean in(hard habit to break LOL) because it's picking up your voice really well. Thank you for taking the time to explain the settings you used to get Your (Distinct) Sound. Keep doing your thing young Man, I learn a lot from Your uploads and continue to be Amazed by the sound your method pushes out. As Always, Thanks and I always look forward to your uploads.

lol appreciate you homie! And the 2500 holding up strong, she’s been too good to me lol. For the F Buttons, that’s a quick fix with some replacement ones. The MPCstuff ones are more durable.
