That's funny because one of our top senior NP nurses at our poor low socia-economic suburbs medical centre / clinic decided to move back to UK because she said our country is too dam expensive to live in. She claimed our insurances companies especially the health ones are way over rated and she priced our country as one of the dearest in the western world. I was shocked silently,,, in fact Gutted. We don't even have a GP but ours is run by Nurse Practitioners... 😢

Very good video. I am a GP from UK and thinking of coming UK but I am confused about the salary, as I got it's around 60-70% than UK and is this true? What about apart from Northland any other place you preferred in new Zealand to work and live?

The GPS and specialists in our area of the Hokianga appear to be committed to our community. They are really lovely people, we value them greatly. Money is not everything. The lifestyle the Far North has to offer, is amazing, it is so important when one is working hard, to have a good lifestyle balance. We have medical professionals from a good range of countries. I hope they see the value in the lifestyle Northland has to offer, and stay.
