Final version is perfection. But I appreciate this.

The final version was way better and punchier blended with the album too. This alone as a disco track would be great if we never heard the finished version but the album was more electronic and needed changing. Although this is great I dont think it wouldve got to number 1 in the UK as the final version. This version sounds like a great leftover track like superpop and History. Im glad it was completed to perfection.

I find very hard to believe that people didn't spot this! While Shallow and Almost (Steve Ronsen) have been so discussed (and IMO they share very little similarities), this is dead on the SAME MELODY, same notes: "Tengo que bailar contigo hoy" and "you found the light in me that I couldn't find" are the same melody.

This is my favorite demo. People say it's too wordy because they got used to the simplified (original) version of the song, but IMO, this demo represents the message it implies more clearly compared to the original

Such an interesting process. The final cut makes the song more political and "new" kind of sound in music, while this one is more written in the older '70s disco standards. The final cut brings the 70's to the '00s with fantastic respect and creates a new sound. LOVE both of them! It's like two different songs! Wow! I hope she can sing this version in a live show. That would be a surprise for the audience!
