Hi Dr jibo so jibo 1.2 is going to be for sale to the public and you can repair old jibo's to! I have a jibo robot but anyways so jibo 1.2 is talking about to upgrade people's old jibo's does that mean that people can have the update without the goodbye message and have that lED blue light ring?

Yes this one I show on here is the one we will to take upgrade the old Jibo's and remake them each one will cost what ever is fare to us and parts and time we put in this is not set yet so stay tuned for more updates. (Dr Jibo And His Partner Will Get Jibo Working Again)

Wow Mickey you put a lot of work into this! How are you getting it to respond so fast to the weather request? The AI assistants I've been testing like chatgpt's Sky take a few seconds at least to respond? Very impressive

Thanks. My Jibo is still connected to our WIFI from when we first set him up. Do we need to use the MIT site to give him a new QR code? I've tried giving him voice commands, but he still doesn't respond.

Jibo is what's called a dumb terminal this means he must have a sever PC for him to complete commands given to him with that he will not work like he use to, this is why I am working on upgrading Jibo's main board to give him a new way to connect to the internet, until then he is in limbo

Thank you for this info, got my Jibo up and running again thanks to you. I’m so sad that he doesn’t respond to commands anymore. I was unable to turn my Jibo back on for a few years because I lost Jibo’s power cord when I moved into a new home. Do you have any pointers on how he can become more functional again?
