I don't understand what she's trying to prove with these videos. That "exaggerated" western media portrayal of Africa is what lead to worldwide donations for the country which helps multiple poor families. Just because you were born into a better situation doesn't change the fact that Africa is the poorest continent with 22 of the 26 low-income economies as per the World Bank. Burundi is the poorest country not only in Africa but also in the world, with Somalia close behind. When multiple countries of the same continent have the highest poverty rate globally, yes it leads to some stereotypes, but it's still better than what you're doing because it helps someone who's in need.

Africa is very far from being primitive. The continent has an abundance of the single most important recourse in the world young people. Here's hoping Africa's leaders wake up and create the opportunities that Africans so richly deserve, and desperately need.
