I'm not from USA, is this normal there? Womanizer Barney at 250 and romantic Ted also very high at 82. Large numbers were in Seinfeld and other shows, too. It seems to me that characters in tv shows have many one-time partners or sleep with each other because it's cheaper to have guest star girlfriends than a new regular character. TBBT added two new girlfriend characters and money troubles started.

@@goranmilic442 normal for certain kinds of people but we don't compete with different kind of people. For example Barney and Ted are different kinds of people. Barney would be competing with other pickup artist type people. And being in the city this is way more normal.

Here's a ranking of the girls Ted dated that I think was perfect for him: 1. Victoria - she is literally PERFECT for Ted and she has flaws and is totally relatable, but he gave up on her and went after Robin. The drumroll "kiss" really made me feel fuzzy. 2. Robin - (my favorite character) she's a good choice for Ted (since Ted's been literally chasing after her) if I didn't ship her so much with Barney. When Ted got her the blue french horn was a memorable moment for their ship. 3. Stella - she is such a nice person, it's just sad that she still wasn't over her ex-husband (husband?) but I guess she's happy with her family. Her 2-minute date with Ted was adorable. 4. Tracy - not really a fan of her since she's a mary sue. But she's nice, I guess. 5. Zoe - she's a feisty girl and I liked her with Ted since they were opposites, but they were too different sadly.

everything! they made us like the Mother while I didn't like her in the first place and then they kill her. this is horrible. and I was hoping that Ted and Robin would get together for like 6 f. years and then I got over it... and guess what? they get together. whaaaat the hell?

Help me out here, was that the girl he made out with at the freshman party and long thought to be Lily!? If so, her name was Alexa Leskys as they reveal at the end of the S03 Blah-Blah episode. But look, there are a couple of girl's missing on this list that were barely important to the story and only appeared in quick flashbacks or short anecdotes! I mean, to be precise you'd basically have to start with Molly, the girl he lost his virginity to as a 17-year-old ... and that would just be too long of a list (He tells that story to Robin in S02E12 on the occasion of her sister Katie coming to NYC for a visit along with her creepy boyfriend!).
