Thank you for the time and effort, that you have allocated to this recipe. I will certainly make it. With slight adjustments. The eggs will be replaced with a vegan substitute (namely stewed apples) As will the butter, and date paste, for the sugar.

Hi @eleanorhunt273, thank you for your comment. I wanted to enjoyed the traditional fruit cake but without the alcohol and did research on how to create it. This was my first time making fruit cake. My family enjoyed it so I hope you and yours will enjoy it as well. For the eggs, I haven't tried stewed apples but if you want to keep the same texture, you can just double up on the apple sauce. I hope you have a happy new year.
