It doesn't like anything from GBO1/GBO2 or EXVS MBON) the ideas just hit me and I can't let that go now.

...Well, Kira's inner fanboy sure loves some good old pile-bunker action... while also not accounting the fact said pile-bunker action nearly turned his best friend's Gundam's cockpit into a gaping, bloody hole in the middle, but Kira more than knowing that Athrun is the best fighter out of the trio, so its gonna take more than that to take him down. 😅 ...And so, ALLMIND slowly shows its allegiance and its 'offer' to the SEEDs of Ibis, especially C4-617, White Glint... or rather... Cosmic Era's Ultimate Coordinator... Kira Yamato.

Coral Release... Now's the time that the psychological aspect of ALLMIND really starts to surface, the boys and Flay really feel something is definitely off and if the Fires of Ibis has shown them a thing or two, they really do not want the blood of an entire star system on their hands just because they needed some way back home, they're maybe doing some morally questionable things right now, as mercenaries, but they're not monsters... just three battle-hardened warriors and a formerly misguided lover in an unknown world.

...ALLMIND must have really cranked up the horror factor in the Arena to really have Kira spooked like that... A little bit of curiosity, even though ALLMIND was simply 'observing' Kira through Zeta Gundam's eyes, what was the deep, real reason that had Kira's mind on overdrive like that? When I read that section in the fic, I couldn't help but felt a little scared as well... (You don't have to answer, though. It is, after all, a fictional story that tends to leave the interpretation up for the reader to come to their own conclusions.)

Athrun's gotta feel relieved at this point. All that effort in trying to blend in resulted in them gaining so much valuable intel and buying the trust required to operate with a long leash for anybody. He's grinning, safe in the fact that the disguises gave enough time to see what's coming and prepare. It lent the legends something to latch onto, and meant that they can control the narrative to reveal themselves on their own terms. The only immediate problem left is how the bogeys respond. Once our boys' data is verified, it's technically easy to build countermeasures based on historical data. But what else can they really do? By this point, the SEEDs' resolve is unflappable, their brotherhood impervious to any sabotage short of directly messing with their heads. Even then, would a direct mental attack even work on Athrun, who's seen that kinda racket before? Still, they must prepare for the worst. Because it hasn't come to pass yet.

Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time Flay's ever seen Kira's X20A Strike Freedom in action. This has to stir something in her mind, at least. She'd have seen X13A Providence, so watching Kira take DRAGOONS and build upon the remote shooter weapon concept must be quite the revelation for her. I wonder if she'll get the idea right away, that Kira helped in drawing up a machine that would supersede the one weapon that almost broke his humanity, and that he never stopped with that philosophy. That he'll do anything in his power to be better than he was yesterday, until there is no need to keep fighting again and again. Because it's easy to dismiss Kira as a reactionary who only knows how to design his way out of some "skill issue," forgetting that in the movie, his enemies built their rigs specifically to kill just him. And yet they failed. What doesn't kill Kira only incentivizes him to be stronger, smarter, more reliant on systems and people than the self. And now these jokers in Rubicon-3 think they're so advanced. 200 years removed yet their machines are nowhere near what the Capital has kept in its archival hangars. A generational regression that has only now begun to recover. Yet somehow, the old skeletons remain unassailable. Here we go. The masks come off. Most people have forgotten the old myths. After Athrun made his presence known, Charteruse and King are about to receive a firsthand account.
