Salmon Saladsandwich That doesn't make any sense seeing as how kingsnakes are notorious for eating rattlesnakes and the ring snake is known for having small amounts of mild venom... That usually doesn't break through the skin...

@plaguelock Not all venom is the same. Kingsnakes are known to be immune to rattlesnakes and similar vipers. Ringneck snakes are not related to vipers, so their venom is likely not similar. It may be mild to humans, but unlike rattlesnake venom (which is designed to kill mammals) it is adapted to paralyze the small reptiles that ringnecks feed on. I can't find any info about kingsnake immunity to any snake venom besides vipers.
