I only came across the original Broadway Cast Album last week and have been obsessed with the show ever since. Now we really need a UK cast album because i need this song.

While the lyric changes work better, I feel like it just doesn’t hold the same power that Kate Shindel’s original held. It might be because the key was changed but McQueen doesn’t make me feel threatened hearing this, which is a shame because she sings it beautifully

Such amazing talent, and so hard to decide the "best" version. Caissie Levy, Alison Luff, and Siobhan Dillon are all fabulous in this role. For me, Siobhan wins by a hair, because she really conveys the pain. The changes in her voice as she sings the lyrics are really powerful.

They are all extraordinarily talented. I couldn't hold a candle to any of these girls and their vocal chords. I have a soft spot for Caissie and her performing abilities, always will, but I tip my hat to all of these girls. 👏👍

Siobhan rocks it, Alison Luff close 2nd; but they are all great.

Siobhan's extra movements and overt emotions sacrificed a little of the musicality. The pitch was a little unstable. I would still go with Caissie's very clean rendition. The pitch was precise and message was clear. Heart felt.

I only stan Caissie.

Rebecca Trehearn, Caissie Levy, then Alison Luff were my favorites and it was because of the emotion I felt when listening to them without looking at them.

I saw it live about a week ago and she flipped from an E to an A in the very last note (though I think it was a first cover Hatter and not McQueen)

When are they doing a UK cast recording?! Incredible voices in this production... And this particular song isn't even on the Broadway soundtrack 😩 One of the best songs in my opinion.

In my opinion, Siobhan is the best. She doesn't rely on extensive pushing of the sound as do others.
