Normal oil pressure on cold start up should be 58 - 60 psi & hot will settle around 18psi. Change the oil pressure sensor its behind intake drivers side its a pain to get to. But yeah if its reading that high thats out of range for sure & you will get multiple lights/codes

My issue was worn cam bearings.i replaced them & Its been over 6k miles & still running strong no codes

I'll try the oil pressure sensor and will let you know if it was the problem. When the lights come on it shifts hard up and down. If I use my scan tool and clear the code it shifts fine but it kicks really hard when the lights on.

You can use the sticks to hold the lifters up

I replaced everything also and nothing. Took out the motor and had worn cam bearings especially the first two. Its been 4000 miles and everything is still good. My stabilitrac light also went away

I did put everything back & its working great no problem.

Never had low oil pressure warning but after new cam & bearings no more codes 4k miles later

4l80e, the torque converter is the first to go. More noticeable on accelerating from stop to go or up a steep grade. Otherwise, flush your fluid, install a new filter and add some transmission slip fix additive. Triple check transmission fluid levels too. I installed another torque converter at about 160k miles.

No it shouldn't if they try to play that game of voiding your warranty get a lawyer. always write the date and type of oil and filter used for records.

@justinesportsmedicine9379 i decided to remove the engine to rebuild because that was the only other reason for that code. The camshaft was eating into the second cam bearing & it was also chipping the edges of the first 2 bearings. They have updated wider bearings i instslled. 4k miles no codes & the stabilitrak light also went out.

@@Cesarrst5 many things can cause this code from computer to wires after changing everything if you have a short on the tow haul button can cause this problem also the wires will be broken easy fix about 20 minutes.

Thanks bro, i had did my timing because i had that p0011 code & i guess i ordered the wrong plate but that wasn't the issue the issue had to be the cam bearings. Oil pressure was normal & i had no symptoms just the damn code & that code was also setting my stabilitrac light randomly it will come & go by itself. I did about 1k miles after the build & no codes came up. Before i could drive 5 , 10, or 30+ minutes & get the stabilitrac light or p0011 code. But yea im tryin to find another escalade with a bad engine or bad tranny but cant find one for less than 3500. I dont wanna pay that much lol

Dont order the ecm yet you will have to program it. I did all that & no change i ordered everything through gm parts giant came out to almost 2k. My truck did the same thing yours is doing & im 100% it was the cam bearings because everything checked out ok when i disassembled the engine. I used same pistons but i did order new piston rings because there were two that was stuck with carbon starting to wear the cylinder walls. I just purchased the honing tool from harbor freight & cleaned it up with wd40. You can rebuilt you whole engine with less than 2k if you do everything yourself

@@mrflinstone2553 yeah i think im going to do what you did this truck i spend alot of money on i did the hole suspension rack and pion new shocks rear springs new fuel pump new canister purge you name it i did it new seat covers and the lisit goes on im a mechanic myself i work as a mechanic but now i need to buy a engine stand and and the plate to pull the motor out i was going to just get a rebuild motor but there hard to find for cheap i no my motor is good because like you said theres no symptoms the only symptoms i get is when the traction light comes on my transmission when i put it in drive feels hard but it shifts good no issues with that but yeah man keep me update how your truck turn out after you brake it in if i run into a problem when i take the motor off ill hit you up and pick your brains but thanks man i appreciate it

But its my 1st year doing rebuilds thanks to youtube. I alaways go to gm parts giant website put my vin and look for parts that fit my vehicle then i go window shopping on ebay, amazon rock auto & see who has it cheaper lol. Alot of times i can wait a few days so its ebay or rock auto, im cheap lol I've put about 700 miles on it and there's no lights at all
