I grew up in Adelaide and this case has always bothered me. Every now and then I do a search on his name and this is the first time I've found some info about him I can't believe he is still on the run, but as you mentioned he may be dead. I've wanted him to get caught straight away because if he is the killer, he's evil. Thank you Swamp Dweller~

I live in Missoula, MT, my family has been living here since the early 1900s. My great grandpa owned a house in the rattlesnake area of town, up on a hillside. The house is still there although with new owners. It must have been the 80's when these take place. My grandpa would always get home late at night and sit out on his porch looking down into the valley and smoke a pipe, one night, as he was smoking, he saw lights in the sky. they moved erratically as I heard the story told, he must have watched them for 10 minutes before they disappeared. My great grandpa always thought it was a UFO. Another story he has: He would take his dogs on walks up to the top of the mountain (not very far from his house). One day, after seeing strange lights yet AGAIN over the top of the mountain and much closer to his house, he walked up there in the morning and found 3 big scorch marks in the grass, he described them as look like a rocket had taken off from that spot. I also heard from the rest of my family, it apparently smelled like a chemical of some sort he had never smelt before. Those are my stories of UFOs over Missoula MT. I haven't heard them in a while as my Great Grandpa passed a few years after I was born and they were told to me by my dad.

Did I miss something? Wth was the first story? How did he survive? Didn’t the tnt detonate point blank to him and he dogman? Why go out in the woods? How could a creature like that possibly continue to exist? Why is it so stupid op? Could have just affixed some spikes or jagged metal to the front if one the sheriff SUVs and ram it. Why not just make Molotov cocktails? Or toss a bucket of petrol on the thing then light it up? Why not just put the explosive flammable barrels along side the bait cattle or whatever and shiot em when the creature attacked it? Seemed like a series of incredibly stupid blunders and nonsensical plans.

Why does the first story sound like a movie I watched a while back? Logging disturbed something like a werewolf and it ends up killing a bunch of people in the town. Pretty sure this story is just copied with a few things changed. Dark was the night is the title of the movie
