I especially enjoyed the snow covered pines. They grow so geometrical as if purposely pruned. The lighting that day was perfect. Contrast was flattering without being dominant. The crescent moon in the sky above the treetops was my favorite. 🙂🙂

Hey, I’m old and I grew up with film. I like this look. For me it presents a world of non-perfection, more realistic that the pristine digital sensor. This short video is an excellent example of capturing a feeling with a cinematic look. Thanks for posting. 🥸

In adobe premiere: faded film look. Under the lumetri color dock -> creative, where you apply LUT’s. There’s a slider for it. It works well on night footage like this indeed, thanks.

Yeah its like a type of grass that grows by the water here, almost like “reed” it turns orange for just a little bit in Autumn before turning white/yellowish in winter, soon.

Great video, you were so lucky with the weather! I drove this twice in my 4Runner. Great road, stunning views. Actually not as scary or difficult as it might look.

Thank you! Yes it was a perfect day for it. Its maybe not as scary or difficult. But I think its still a drive to be a bit more cautious about compared to “regular” drives in Iceland. Especially for unexperienced/city drivers.

@@DedicationPhotography It sure is. Do you use an external monitor to help with the focusing? I struggle to nail focus. Though my terrible sight plays a huge role I suspect.

@@cosmashono7665no I don’t. Sometimes it gets a bit tricky thats right. But most of the time it just works fine for me. AF-S for static shots and just focus before pressing record. The shots of me talking is in AF-C. I feel the focus is keeping up well enough imo
