Nooot really. Use an angle brush to make your cuts around the ceiling and trim and don't bother with 95% of the tape. Primer is only really needed if you're doing a drastic color change or if the walls are unpainted. Paint tech is pretty advanced nowadays and most are self priming (it'll say so on the can).
@ConCreedProjects
@ConCreedProjects 4 ай бұрын
Yes realy. A brush is for a expert and not the novice. Then again, not everybody can be an expert. I do agree with the primer on drastic colour changes and new walls, like mentioned in video.

Damn, wished I had seen this before I painted some rooms, lol. My problem is that I touched up afterwards and the end result indeed differed, it does not look good, lol. Can I fix this by painting it again a third time the whole wall?
@ConCreedProjects
@ConCreedProjects Жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes you can paint it again using the same paint and colour. Just mix the paint in the drum proper and theb paint the wall from corner to corner.

Solar heaters capture heat radiation, they don't work like a photovoltaic solar panel at all. The later use photons to excite electrons and generate a current.

Great info and video Clifton, thank you. We have a tall and beautiful stone chase above a fireplace insert that many have said would be great place for mounting a big TV. Maybe... but it's a long term and can be a challenging commitment (electrical, structural support) if you do and... if you change your mind later, you may not be able to match in the original stone to replace the mounting and electrical outlet holes left behind. We chose a coordinating entertainment center piece of furniture instead for the TV. My wife also likes the flexibility of holiday decorations on the fireplace mantle including a large Christmas canvas painting. The wall on the man cave is safe no matter what for a wall mounted TV, however, so your tips will be useful there! 👍

Thank you Ross. Mounting a tv above a fire place can be challenging...also when adding other components will be a massive problem ... Find the best angle..and that is the best spot!

Hi Clifton. Great info and well- researched and presented, especially pros and cons of purchasing. I live in an extreme climate area with harsh winters and summers prone to damaging hail storms, so I would need to investigate insurance replacement costs for the panels. Thanks for your work and always useful home improvement tips. Love the channel. Cheers man! 🙌

Well-done Clifton, great advice 👏! Even in a tight housing market, a little pre-listing preparation can make a difference in final purchase agreement terms and help avoid inspection or warranty problems after the sale. Always best to follow the golden rule, too, as if you are the buyer. Love the channel, looking forward to the next one. Cheers man!🙌

@@ConCreedProjects I was wondering if you could make a video about cutting tiles? I have recently been told that to cut floor tiles, a water jet cutter must be used, as opposed to walls which could just be cut on site with minimal equipment. I wonder why that is
