How about the idea of constant growth is inherently flawed and if we have a system so dependent on ever increasing “gdp” or any other metric we are better served allowing such a system to fail so a sane one can take its place.

@@brokersplaybookMixed. While I don't necessarily have an issue with natural migration flow what we have been seeing for the last several years is extremely artificially induced. I think humans are not so different from the animals and that just like them our differences are more than skin deep, even if we have many many similarities. A robin builds a robins next, a crow builds a crows nest. If we change the "bird" we change the resulting "nest" which is our society. It is my belief we must learn to accept both extremes as the opposing ends to a single pole. As such we must both be open to the "other" as well as insular against them. TBH I think we are playing with fire and people are going to get burned very badly as a result.
