In Google Groups, our members that are external to our workspace domain show up with their email address (not names) in the Member Name column. Sometimes the email address is cryptic and does not reflect that person's name. Is there any way to add a data column where we can put the person's actual name into the group?

This is a great video. In my case, I'm trying to share a DVD to Google Meet via an external player. I'm not having luck with the Chrome browser 3 vertical dots. Specifically, it doesn't allow me to select "Cast", as it doesn't appear to be an option for the current version. If I run the VLC media player on my desktop, Google Meet won't permit sound. It will only permit sharing sound if a particular TAB is shared. Do you or anyone in the community have experience with this? Thanks for sharing any helpful tips and or videos offering a solution.

Your directions are extremely easy to follow. Thank you. The label I created has 96 contacts. The email addresses are confidential so I cannot use Groups. While trying to send an email, a pop up warns there are too many contacts. Do you know Gmail's maximum contact number for a single label? Is there a work around other than splitting the 96 contacts into smaller groups?

The video was easy to follow, but in my meet (created over the calendar) I don't have any options for cast- like there should be, as shown in the video. What is wrong? Or does anybody have any ideas how to play a video from an external dvd player for the students? It really is a mystery.

How would this work whenever you are using the Promethean board as the "presenting screen"? I currently join a Google Meet on my Promethean Board and then use the "Present Now" option. I then join the meet on my laptop or chromebook. I use the laptop or chromebook for the audio and to see the students/chat/Q&A etc. However, I cannot see all of my students. The Promethean Board in present mode takes up about 1/3 of the screen on the laptop which limits the number of kids that I can see to about 6 or 9 at best. I have tried changing the layout to tile with 49 as the # of tiles but it still limits me to about 9 students. I need to use the Promethean Board in present mode so that I can write on the board and have all of the annotation tools available. I teach high school math. Thank you.
