This brings back such great memories of hearing both Tom Dundee and Reilly & Maloney in concerts at the Antique Sandwich Co. in Tacoma. I still treasure the vinyls from both.

Terrific song, one you really have to see live (with both artists in-frame) to fully appreciate. I saw them do it in Olympia at about the same time as this, and David was just brilliant.

Remembrance of the years ago at their first concert, two excellent musicians.

I heard this on an old audio tape back in 1985, transcribed the lyrics into my diary of the day, and on review of that diary, finally had KZbin to actually see them perform the song! Good stuff never dies.

first heard their beautiful harmonies while working at Charlotte's Web in Rockford IL, back in the late 70's. Such sweet memories, and still love their voices!

Saw them in Olympia at just about this same time, in about this type of venue. (Down on the landing, during Harbor Days, I recall.) Reilly and Maloney are the soundtrack of my youth. (Because I had class.)

I can remember seeing Reilly and Maloney at the Engine House No 9 in Tacoma in the early to mid 80's. I was one of many musicians that played there and got to know these two pretty well along with Michael Tomlinson and a few others. What wonderful days and what great folks.

I first saw them in the early '80's when dating a lady who was booking Folk acts for a variety of venues, they are amazing performers, thank you for posting this.

I've loved Reilly & Maloney since the Drinking Gourd in SF back in the early '70's. Some things just make you smile forever!

Reilly & Maloney live on... no matter how many times they have retired. From UW Street Fairs, to that restaurant that used to be by Northgate, to the Backstage, to Bumbershoot, to Marina Park. From vinyl, to 8 track, to cassette, to CD. From red hair to grey. Through pregnancies and adoptions. Many of us continue to journey through life with the music, lyrics and emotions evoked by these two masters of harmony.
