I have had nothing but issues with squatch bags. I had the load lifters fail on my legend 3.0 and the Ykk zipper failed. Then i got a new legend 3.0 in warranty within two weeks the zipper failed on the large side pocket and they wouldn't warranty it and tried to blame me saying I forced the zipper or had something in my bag poking the zipper (which I did not on either). I had to compromise and pay a small fee to get another one. Straight selling all my squatch stuff after the 1 hour argument I had on the phone . I took the squatch bags in to a bag repair shop that had the zipper issues and they verified with me that it was poor quality stitching and not me. Sticking to my octothorpe and ordered a rufus.

These shoes are absolutely trash I bought a pair and they didn’t last half a season the sole of the shoe tore completely away the pinch point is coming apart there are better shoes with a better price

Edit: Nevermind they address this in the FAQ and tell how to zero it to your arm. I wonder what arm length it’s calibrated to and how much variance there is depending on arm length

The little retriever strap prevents the retriever from leaning forward and unzipping the zipper slightly. I have to zip mine back up at least every fourth hole. Not a big deal, individually, but you’ll notice it.

Bought both, nothing beats a Pound bag. Rufus is more comfortable, better materials, better pockets, straps are also better. Similar looking but it’s not even close on functionality. The straps on the squatch are the weak point, when you try to adjust it to the deployed position and you over do it like you did it starts to stay kinked. I contacted squatch about it and they did sent me a video on adjusting it so it doesn’t do that, didn’t work for mine it stayed kinked. Probably should have got some new straps but I got rid of it after getting my pound.

Yep, i had the same experience with my glow orbital. I was hoping for just a slightly slower vanish but it isnt even close

I have the Squatch Lore (Drew Gibson edition) and my dad has the Pound Rufus, and I absolutely love the quality of the Rufus but man the price difference is absolutely insane with the Canadian dollar right now. I want a Rufus, but I think the Lore does exactly what the Rufus does maybe even better (putter pocket) but the sacrifice is quality of materials at the end of the day. Hey bud I just want to say I really appreciate the level of detail throughout the video - including the understanding of why different people want different products, and it's more than merely any consumer, it's the different companies and resellers involved, and of course the regions or locations involved. Some people buy local, some prefer items produced locally, too. 🙂

I've been playing (obsessed with) disc golf for 17 years. I've spent thousands on my setup, and discs in general. I would never spend $450 on a bag. The jump from most high end bags at 150 to this at 450 is entirely a status thing. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise. Yes they have a lifetime warranty. That's not worth the extra $300, end of.

I use mine as a washer - Soak it with water first, then use it to clean dirt and mud off before drying with a normal towel

Good Job Ryan, yes, I for one, appreciate someone thats not a pro sharing and showing discs..and their flights, keep it up, I tore my RC in 3 places twice..doah! but have healed myself, I think some of us need not try to throw as hard as we can and far,.. what matters is no over torking our shoulder arm , elbow, think long term...so, I use lighter weight discs, and have much funm which is the real reason we're doing this right? thanks again

From my 140g Destroyer to my new 156g Pure, light discs have been game changers. I did it in tennis when I stopped copying pros with heavy stiff racquets and in golf with a too stiff shaft. I am not a pro, don’t have the speed or strength so why not make it as easy as possible! Thanks for the content… with everything about longest drive (like the other golf) finesse and easy of play for us mere mortals is easily forgotten

I am 61 years old, and spend most of my time on the practice field and try to get to one of the courses outside of town when i can since I do not own a vehicle at the moment. So I need a cart that I can walk down to the city park(s) with or take across the street to the elementary school grounds and take about 30-40 discs along, including plenty of bottled water. Not really sure what to buy? They all look and sound awesome. I especially need one that I can comfortably sit on. I weigh about 225

That looks to be more stable than my SE neutron. I've had it for about a year and a half now and although it is pretty understable at this point, I still don't think that it is a -4.5 turn. It took awhile to beat in though, so I assume that the glow one will eventually be pretty similar, based on the flight that you are getting. Great review as always Ryan!

Hey! Thanks for the great content as always! I took mine out for a glow round a couple days ago, and found it to be flippy but definitely not -4.5. For context I max out around 350 feet, so I don’t have a rocket arm by any means, but I did get some noticeable high speed turn. If I were going to rate it, I’d honestly say it flies just like a Neutron Vanish for me, 11 5 -3 2. Curious what other people’s experiences are!

Great glow in the bag! My glow Falk(using a white light)will glow as bright as my MVP total eclipse discs(using a UV light).

Anyone who dogs the Golem has never played with one . Baskets on a hill. Or at the edge of water .I also found that thrown into branches will drop straight down. Very useful.

Seems like less about the stability and more the glide difference. Different shaped nose, more glide, wider diameter = more distance + plus less of a sharp angle when it hits

I feel same way about the DD verdict. It’s a 5 4 0 3.5, but I’d call it a slight less glidely, torque resistant EMac Truth. Which makes it an awesome disc and sounds just like the Nord. And my arm speed is similar to yours as well.

This is the course I learned to play on about 16 years ago. I have a love/hate relationship with it lol. Fire ants and dense shrubs. Lots of big trees in your way. But it’s very rewarding when you make a good shot there.

I'm actually happy about your conclusion, I think it could fill a nice slot in my bag between the Hex and Pyro. If it was truer to the flight number wouldn't it be way too close to the Järn? +0.5 speed and +1 glide but same turn and fade.
