Man i remember you used to have a tutorial for this trick years ago and it had bodom beach terror playing in the backround. That video is what got me into children of bodom and they became one of my favorite bands of all time. I came back to watch some of these old trick breakdowns and i got to say, the way you presented all these tricks is so clean and it was very formative for me back then when i was still learning and trying to find what style of tricks i wanted to excell in. Even to this day i still do a few of these tricks you've done tutorials for. Thank you for all the inspiration over the years🙌🙌🙌🙌

wth did you do with the original akira tutorial the other guy does it wrong he uses his index instead of his thumb in that revolutionary part
@raytsh7 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I'm not sure if I've ever made a tutorial for the original Akira combo. That said, I had to remove some videos a few years ago where I used copyrighted music.
@cancel9907 жыл бұрын
Noo you did! I learned from you. You were using a noctu.
@cancel9907 жыл бұрын
I remember you used the thumb in the beginning and this other guy uses his index finger.
@raytsh7 жыл бұрын
Yeah, well, if it's not there anymore, it means I had to take it down. This only leaves the Neo Akira tutorial, what is like, my improved version of that combo.
@cancel9907 жыл бұрын
I think you made the tutorial unlisted and the other guy with the tutorial is paying you to keep it unlisted. Now you are pushing this sale on me. It's some marketing conspiracy. The last one is my favorite trick I do it every day so *maybe* I will take a look at this bait.
@devaejones26827 жыл бұрын
So what level would you say this trick is?? And I just mastered plan d
@raytsh7 жыл бұрын
Regarding todays standards, I'd say intermediate to advance. It might be a bit harder than Plan D, depending on what kind of tricks you've already learned.

For the final part when I let go I don't get into a trapeze.I get into some weird inverted GT
@raytsh8 жыл бұрын
Are you landing on the right string segment? Maybe there is something wrong a few steps prior that lead to a similar looking but still different final string formation? For instance, the one step where you mount from the back but leave to the front.

Cool video. Did you use Common Vision Blox to record this? I bought a Bonito with Dalsa framegrabbers from Stemmer a couple of years ago and could only ever get CVB Movie to show one half of the image in poor resolution. It has been gathering dust since then.
@raytsh9 жыл бұрын
David Horsell We've used CVB for recording. We had to stitch the images though, since you only get half of the image per grabber. Send me a message and I will explain the details.

I can't believe this.......I cant even figure out the chopstick gt thing! So frustrating.
@SergeantExtreme11 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your reply. That answered my question satisfactorily.
@raytsh11 жыл бұрын
I don't have the fraying issue with any of my yoyos. Either the guts have been masked before blasting or the coating is non-blasted in the first place. So, I could play a string as long as I want. I change them frequently though as the string gets sticky, dirty or fuzzy, as I mentioned. Some strings also tend to get thinner the longer they are played, so the response might get lower. That would also be a reason to get a fresh string. To sum up: change strings when they don't look new anymore.
@SergeantExtreme11 жыл бұрын
Here's a slightly more technical extension to the previous question about when to change a string. I'm practicing a lot, and so the part of the string near the yo-yo and the response system is starting to get frayed. How much is too much? How long can I go on a string before it breaks?
@alin923911 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your time,I'll try ...
@raytsh11 жыл бұрын
I see. Well, that's probably the hardest move of that combo. Try to let go the string as late as possible. Don't release the string untill the yoyo has cleary passed the triangle formation and is right above it, nearly at the highest possible point.
