Both are equally matched since Puppetmon can't kill MetalEtemon since his body made of Chrome Digizoid plus Puppetmon attack is quite weak especially since his confirmed kill is a Champion and Ultimate Level Digimon plus. MetalEtemon doesn't take the fight seriously, goofing around and his attack whole schtick is all about Slapstick Comedy with no Substance (Fart Joke, Banana Slip and Sucker Punch) and both being Virus Type also make them equally match with neither gained any advantage to each other. The ONLY reason why MetalEtemon kill Leomon is because SaberLeomon is a Data Type and Virus Type Digimon had a Advantage towards Data Type Digimon which in this case SaberLeomon
