You are both very good musicians, however, what's it with playing super fast? I know this is a fast tune, but I'm sick and tired of people showing off how fast they can play. Is this music or some kind of macho competition?

Natalie MacMaster on her 1999 album "In My Hands" has this tune; it's a very simple set of _Maudabawn Chapel_ by Ed Reavy, and _Frank's_ by John McCusker. The set is titled _Gramma_ and it's dedicated to her grandmother. It starts with her grandmother recorded saying, "...I wasn't rich enough to get a violin, when I was young, but if I had to have had the money, boy o' boy; I would've been a boilin' player, my God. I was alive with it." ;-) Solas also recorded it on their album "Sunny Spells and Scattered Showers" at a white-knuckle pace, in a six-reel set.

My friend in Donegal once said that "kittled" is a "well-mannered feline's" way of saying the cat "piddled" in Jamie's wig. Lol

1:22. it's all in your head. Don't let it get into your head. You gotta focus on getting that note right. I mean you are far more grounded and real than that hiding on how you teach a violin player. Like what's wrong with you. Why would you insist on teaching a child that way. Make a mockery out of the violin. Shameful. And then they try to take your child away because you meant for him to have somebody willing to teach him. I can't believe they belittled me. I mean it was bad. Insult to injury. Thank you for showing people how to play violin.

also you are helping me with the neighbors. I was about to pull out the violin and try this myself. But I will never be as good as you. You are so far ahead of the game. How is that left hand working with the fingers coming across the string? Reminds me, I gotta call the violin shop with regards to getting stains from the fingerboard. Embrassing to talk about. I can't believe that.

That was really great. You play with a lot of flair. You double stops and ornaments were really fun to listen to here. I learned this tune this year and can play the notes, but all that stuff you add is so beautiful. One day I will get to that point. Bravo to you, thank you for sharing.
