This is the neat thing about trends being on repeat. That leather jacket would have been considered hideous ten years ago, but then the 80s and 90s started coming around again.

I’ve subscribed! You have a good eye. Though what’s wrong with little flowers? Some of the ditsy flower prints can be charming. Re jewellery, my prize charity shop find was a solid silver necklace (hallmarked) with lapis lazuli beads, for £1.99. You never know what treasure you’ll find!

I’ve been going to charity shops since the 1980s. Some of my clothes that I bought second hand back in the 80s and90s are still going strong! It’s possible to build up a gorgeous wardrobe of good quality pieces for very little money. What a lovely video, and what lovely items you showed us! What did you buy? I hope you got the co-ords.

Like most of your choices but not Cape jacket I volunteer in a charity shop & we have some amazing donations I have lots of bargains

One word of warning for purchasing, especially wool / cashmere / natural fabrics second hand is the risk of bringing home moths (or more accurately their eggs). So one tip I was given is to put items in the freezer for 3 days to kill them off. It’s a good preventative tip to avoid introducing moths to your wardrobe.

The majority of my wardrobe is 2nd hand. Some of it is purchased on sale racks, some I have sewed myself. Cashmere and wool is always secondhand for me, you save so much money. Same with linen button ups and shirts. I have some gorgeous designer dresses I found secondhand also - I’m a dress enthusiast. 🥰 One day I hope to come to London and visit some charity shops. I’ll bring an empty suitcase. 😂👍

I really like this thank you .I do shop in charity shops .There are always bargains to be found ! This is a beautiful charity shop and in the uk many are decluttering and showing you want and you can do and wear with ? I love that these can be found anywhere in the uk .I don’t know if you’ve noticed but more shops are trying to make their shops look like a boutique style shop very similar to a charity shop. Quaint .

Hi Monica, I came across a vintage Wool pencil skirt recently by Dolce and Gabbana recently £7.50. Very fortunate for me. The only thing about jackets and other certain pieces is that they have to be dry cleaned. Usually more expensive than the garment itself😞

I have NEVER found Cashmere that doesn't "pill"!! What is the trick? I've purchased expensive, well made cashmere and it doesn't seem to matter!! I'm not hard on clothing (I have a T-Shirt that is 55 yrs old-still fits, it's a "Hang Ten") that I wore the H*ll out of. It's in great shape & now I'll wear it very rarely. So: what is the secret to cashmere? I take excellent care of my clothes, etc. Cashmere drives me nuts!!
