Does the song's motif remind anyone of Sharp Dressed Man?

Wish I saw this show.. Saw them at HOB in 2001 or 2002? Awesome. We saw the last show at Roadrunner in Boston in 2022. They're as good as ever. The crowd was not as into it as this show and ours in 2002 though...

This is his best set ever with this song. Not too many blues men touring anymore, especially good ones like him. If I die and can come back as anything I wanted I would come back as his shirts! Then I could be hugging him all the time ! 😲😳🥰😊

What brought me here? The love of Route 66, Depeche Mode and Billy Gibbons! How the eff does that come together? Did you see the induction of Depeche Mode into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame? No? Billy was one of the speakers praising the band (yes, it's true, look it up). My number one Depeche Mode (cover) song: Behind the Wheel/ Route 66. (Extra bonus. Matt Sorum was the drummer of my other favourite band of the 80's: The Cult.).

Always admired his own personal touch to the way he ends this solo! As many times as I have seen them this ranks pretty high up there with his Aussie Floyd 2007 RAH and the 2015 Amsterdam versions! Damn, that's a boatload of Comfy's now that I think about it!🤫🤫😎

Lacks colour of Anderson’s flute and vocals. A bit flat. Barre needs a flutist minimum and key board player. He certainly doesn’t need another electric guitar.

Though they apparently ripped this song off from an earlier Dallas band called the Thunderbirds kind of disappointed part of the business side of things that the Thunderbirds have copy righted the song
