I can wholeheartedly guarantee, that what you said in this video, is 100% correct, regarding Dave’s online course. I too, was sceptical about investing with this, but so glad I did. I have also had the luxury & honour, of attending an in-person 62 hour course at Dave’s home & workshop back in 2016, to create an amazing reverse painted glass piece, full of techniques. Since then, although learning many techniques, my practice became sporadic & consequently, remembering what I had learnt, diminished somewhat, through lack of practice. However, the online course is a game changer, as I am able to dip into it whenever I want, particularly if I need to look up something specific or a particular technique or finish that I want to achieve. It is just alike having Dave with you, but no cake! 🍰 The in-person workshop is so intense, it’s difficult to remember everything, in such a short space of time - although you have something tangible at the end of it to remind you. You have created some beautiful pieces in the background. I am still a third way through the course as a spectator, primarily. But once I have waded through outstanding other craft projects, that are on my bench, I will be getting out the kit & dedicating myself in putting the techniques to practical, tangible use. At some point I will try to get to this class.. you are one of the reasons why I got interested in scrollwork in the first place! :-) Started with pinstriping, and got more into engraving and discovered your work.. probably more than 10 years ago and i have been so fascinated ever since! :-)
