Out of curiosity what microphones were used? I see a mix of different mics and some I can't really tell.

This sounds exactly the same as the Hal Leonard Jazz Band channel's rendition - either they played it for them, or are outright copying them. I can't find anywhere saying that they played it however - go check it (kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIKXaKCGeaxqhsk)

Hey reallifedoor4536 -- it is the same recording. We recorded it with my band, and used that recording for the Hal Leonard demo. They took the chart as is (which TBH was a wonderful surprise to me!).
