I think a lot of the hesitancy to remain online for weekend services, post-pandemic, stems from a lack of theological discussion and rigor on the use of online, streaming, and prerecorded services in lieu of in-person only. We did not all go online because we wanted to. It was an ultimatum given to us by governments with a monopoly on force. Force we saw exercised on the pastors who remained open because they disagreed with the ultimatum because of their ecclesiology. 96% wasn't ecumenical unity it was survival mode, not exactly a best practice. Would love to talk to either of you on this in an interview.

It's not that you can "only" disciple people online or "only" disciple people in person, but there has to be at least a modicum of recognition that for the entire history of the church, discipleship happened in person. Dave's idea of a mixed approach is interesting and I would argue benifital, but not only requires the in-person only approach historically to exist, it implies that it's invalid because of the presence of an online approach as an option.

I'm finding that while Mac's will run PP7, they tend to struggle a lot more with PP7. They thermal throttle a lot, and their processors don't perform very fast, causing a lot of lag in the software managing all our screens and actions, at least once a month the iMac in our Church will freeze and crash, sometimes causing major technical difficulties in service. Now with apple, you can just throw more money at the problem and eventually you'll get a futureproof machine for an arm and a leg, but I like the customizability and affordability PC provides by comparison. For half the price I can build a machine that has a good AMD processor, a simple Nvidia GPU which helps for all the video encoding, plenty of Ram and an SSD with more than enough space. Plus there's the added benefit of being able to install decklink cards right into the machine for output to a switcher instead of relying on a dongle running into an external expansion box.

After iPad upgrade to 15.2 I can’t access Bible audio

How do I download over versions of the Bible? I want to have a number of different versions in addition to the KJV and do simple word searches... I see where there is space for other versions but I see nothing that would help me to download other versions and pay for the ones that need to be paid for. With appreciation....

Need help with our mini. We have 5 thunderbolts and use them all. Projector, live stream and two monitors. However our mini gets pretty hot and half way through the service the main projector loses signal. Nothing else does, only projector. Any ideas? We have thought about going to a very upgraded PC with 5 video cards and separating each screen to its own card. Been fighting this for a while.

When i connect a long run through my patchbay i always get some noise and high pitched multiple of 60hz using the included vms One preamp. Sent it in for repair but i still have the issue. For now i just use another preamp for the longer run (live room to control room). Thanks!

I to am looking into building a PC to run pro7 but have not used the software yet my question is how much ram will the app pro7 need to push out the following. 1 announcement feed over NDI or hdmi 1 main over dvi and in the future maybe hdmi or dp 1 Teleprompter over hdmi. 1 alpha kye over NDI or hdmi. All at 1080p 60fps. I am just wondering if the 4gb will be a bottle neak. I looked on the article you have and maybe I over looked it but dose the new version of pro7 still have the 4gd ram max?
