Loving all this TEO5 love Miles. You're probably the only KZbinr that has the vision to get what a fantastic value this thing is. Next to the Minibrute, there simply isn't anything available today, for this price, that can do what this synth does.

Man, this synth sounds amazing and massive, but I don’t want to deal with cable patching and all that. It is too much of a learning curve. Are there any mainstream synths that sound as big and amazing?
@SnukeD714 сағат бұрын
Suuuper helpful video, thanks! Is the sound dofference lf the Mau5 style plucks due to different notes being played? Sounds wildly different to me and I was all in with the Teo before I heard that patch, but maybe i just prefer the notes

I first saw Espen's video a few days ago for the very first time and immediately your video appeared on my first page. Now that is strange to me. I can say that you completely missed Espen's point: big synths names are exploiting exactly what you and some of the commentators below are saying, giving you what you want with the cheapest guts at an inflated price. I never opened those synths, I do not have any and do not plan to get any in the near future, but if what Espen is saying is true, that inside is just a single board computer running a VST (they call it firmware) than it is a scam. Yes, you pay for a nice keyboard, and convenient knobs, but most of it you pay for the logo on the case, because inside there is only a computer that costs probably maximum 200 bucks. Making people pay for a product much more than it is worth some people may call it good marketing or market value, I still call it a scam. That is the point I got from Espen's video, and I have no interest to defend him.

Thumbs down on your video for commenting about a synth you don't even own. Secondly, comparting a $5K synth to a $600 synth is a joke. Unsubscribed.
@DankePlace2 күн бұрын
he posted his thoughts, he doesn't need to own it, or unless you're the thought police telling people what they can and cannot *think* ? So when Behringer compares their cheap synths to the expensive counterparts, it's ok?
@Aetila2 күн бұрын
I have a feeling that 3rd Wave owners have to explain for themselves - in detail - why they bought that - otherwise great - synth...now when Behringer introduced their own affordable version, for hobby synthheads with limited resources... :-)

Thanks for the clarification: The 3rd wave leaves the Behringer in the dust with ease. But that was clear and expected. The only thing I don't understand why so many people like the clone - because it is so cheap? Not even the filters sound good, apparently.

I cranked up a track, hoping for a spark, and then it hit me: perhaps there’s a glimmer of something that doesn’t reek of crushed adolescent fantasies. But honestly, all this effort amounts to a big fat zero. I’ve long been curious about the kind of souls who churn out this drab GenZero soundtrack-it's dreadful, truly. The very definition of inauthenticity, wrapped in a bland package.

As allways I enjoy your videos. As the 3rd wave is outside my budget and an exceptional Synth I think my Novation Summit covers the basis of wave tables. It is superior to the behringer wave I think. Yes it does suffer from noise but with careful adjustment it is un-noticeable in a mix. Do I sell my beautiful prophet 5 and Novation summit and get the 3rd wave, I probably should but ill hold tough.
@MilesAwayOfficial3 күн бұрын
@@xntricity6446 I personally would never sell a Prophet 5! I think that synth has a true magic

I like you channel and your content, but this video is pointless and rather petty, you can afford a 5K synth so good for you, but why take a dump on a cheaper version that you don’t even own or have even played? Come on dude, do better, you’re better than this.
@audiosuy3 күн бұрын
I usually like your videos, but this one is pointless. What's the point of making a video expressing your thoughts on a synthesizer you don't own and only watched a couple of videos of? I think you should get one and then give your opinion, until then it's just guesswork without the importance needed to make a video
