Really enjoyed this discussion, especially about the honesty of Horror as a genre! I would add as an answer to the question that as to the particular issue of climate change, cautionary stories out of indigenous cultures can provide a wisdom and spirituality about sustainability that is tragically lacking from mainstream thinking. That, and story recommendations along those lines, could be a panel in and of itself.

If you listen closely, you'll hear me curse loudly after I do my ballet leap because I totally pulled a muscle. LOL. I'm still hobbled the day after. Silly me.

All of the writers that I love, especially folk like Oscar Wilde and Edgar Poe and H. P. Lovecraft, are absolutely within their fiction, a part of the creation that is rooted to their personality. This individualism is what helps to create classics. I know that my unique personality leaks everywhere into my fictive work. Thanks for posting, wish I had been there.

Queen of attitude. She's less than what... two months old (if even) and already throwing full-out punches at cameras like she's been doing it for years? I love her so much already. :)
