Brilliant Video Anton! Liked and subscribed! I just ordered one of these for my BMW e92 320d. I'm terrified I'm going to get a tonne of error codes, but hey, it'll be fun. Specifically, I am noticing the car wants to cut out at low low revs. I have ordered a new MAF sensor in case, it will be here after the scanner. The car doesn't cut out at speed, only slow travel. The idle does not seem rough at all. I have noticed fuel consumption is higher and not as much power as before, but the car is 2008. Have kept a full service history. Wonder will this get to the bottom of it. Thanks for the vid mate!

Hi! Nice video and lovely dog! E91 from has 2010 has a problem with traction control kicking in randomly and the same warning light flashing. The only error code that has been found however is DPF filter. Have you heard about it? Cheers!

DO NOT BUY OFF EBAY!! Most will be Chinese knock-off's and last a shorter time than they spent getting to you. You get what you pay for.

Thanks. It was really helpful the see how the adjustment mechanisms worked. Especially the preload adjustment. I kept spinning mine round and round and figured it might be broken, but watching your vid I see now it can spin quite a lot to adjust either way! It also made me realize on the oil side why the lock out and rebound adjuster don’t seem to work on mine. It’s either low on oil or there’s no oil at all! That would explain why they don’t work. Thanks again.

Should of got the grid down first, then you could of got the bags of gravel put straight on top and then just cut the bags open. 👍🏻

Great video, just did it and took 5 mins. My suggestion would be do everything but keep the cover on its hinge to save hassle of putting it back (tried and tested when replacing headlight only)

Watching your video and analyzing the e-manual I noticed that you set the entire timing at TDC, the manual says that the high pressure pump should be set at 11* top dead center? Am I right or did I miss something ?

You can take the rubbers off, smear dielectric grease on and slide back on, also put dielectric grease on spark plug end, not on the contacts, it keeps water out
