"I want a grom" Said everyone for no apparent reason. Whats the appeal? If i wanted to rip around slowly shifting a short geared transmission, I'd drive my 1983 yamaha xs400 i paid $500 for. Paying 5k for a childs bike is insane. Idgaf if its brand new. I bought a 1992 honda nighthawk 750 for $2300 and it looks and rides like its straight from the factory. Point is, there are WAYY better bikes for less money, especially better bikes that can do the same task better. Why be a crowd foliwer and get a grom. Be different people seriously...

Forst bike I had for a road bike was a 94 katana and you can get sticker packs or graphics..mine had Dule exhaust..... i crashed mine and ripped my leg almost altheway off and they fixed it with years of work.minhave scooters and a grom suped up formnowmtook 12 years tomget back riding..i❤ it to much..yz 50 xr 80 xr100 then the katana for the road bike journey❤❤❤ thanks for the memories good and bad tis the life

I know this is an old post, your review is severely flawed! I have an 09. There is shaft maintenance, greasing the ring gear every tire change. It's a 1352 not a 1400. There is a total of 4 pistons in the front calipers. The battery's go dead in the brake sensors, just remove them and use a tire gauge. Handle bar risers help tremendously, The seat is horrible for any lengthy ride, I had a custom one made. And the exhaust is a giant boat anchor, any aftermarket helps. Also getting the ECU flashed makes the bikes power band so much more pleasurable. Do your homework before you do a review especially with a bike this complicated!

@@DC2100Motors1 yea … in my truck! Lol. Hwy 4 is the most dangerous in the country. The whole state has just gotten so overpopulated. Lots of senior citizens driving the wrong way lol. Head on a swivel! I have a ‘21 Aprilia 660
