I bought myself JBL Vibe earbuds, but I think this will work just fine for me. The only thing is I use 70% ethanol for electronics, because that's the best they have in my local pharmacy. For all other electronics is great, should work for them too.

I loved them for a long time but have gone through different brands and companies for phones, ear buds and everything else since this video. For the first time in my life, I'm carrying an iPhone now so I now have the AirPods Pro 2's. With that being said, I still clean everything the same way! Still no problems with any of the electronics or anything else using the methods I described here. Thanks for watching!

I still have those buds and they work as good now as they did then. As I've stated many times, I've used this method for a long time on several different brands (currently AirPods Pro 2's) and it's never hurt anything. You just don't want to saturate things or scrape too hard on anything. Common Sense.

This video really hits all the points needed for anyone who is interested in kerosene space heater. The color of the burning fuel looks white and bright. Do not see any yellow flame. This heater must really be burning hot and bright. 6:25 HOW many hours did you use the kero heater last year and did you burn the wick dry as the wick you removed looks dry Paul ?? Happy Thanksgiving fella too. v
@GriffinBenchmark
@GriffinBenchmark 8 ай бұрын
I haven’t used it much this last year. My son and I used it in my insulated garage to change out a starter on his truck but not much other than that. I’ll let it burn dry every other time I use it usually. That way it doesn’t build up paraffin.

These are an improvement over the 1st gen buds. kzbin.infoUgkxK5mc3yw4xA7Mf2j6k6n1Uqv_KUgrKdeM Pros: The fit is fantastic. This is the biggest plus. They stay in my ears when running and become unnoticeable. They are tight but comfortable. The sound quality is about the same as the 1st gen buds. They pair more easily with my LG G8 ThinQ and immediately reconnect when removed from the case. The sound balance is excellent, good but not overpowering base and clean mid tones and highs.Cons: The noise cancellation is good but perhaps a little less effective than the Bose ANC on the 1st gen buds. Passthrough mode as not as good as the 1st gen buds making it a little more difficult to hear conversations when in passthrough.

So Today 18Jan2023, I saw your video for the first time,, on 16Jan, I changed the wick in my Kerosun heater model rMC95C6: It is obvious , I missed two pin holes... I have already emptied the kerosene out and will disassemble the heater again, because I can tell I did not install it correctly.. Oh well,been 8 or more years since I last had my heater fired up. Thanks for posting a well lit video with good details and audio.. Much appreciated. !!!

Nice job. After I light mine, let it burn about 5-10 minutes, I adjust the wick adjuster know, usually I turn it all the way on low, or close to it. This get's the flame at the correct height, and conserves kerosene. At my local gas station, k-1 kerosene is $5 per gallon no, December 2022. Thanks!

Yes, like you, I fell for the "diesel works like a charm" BS out there on the internet. Ended up replacing the wick. Thanks for the video showing how to do so. Your video is one of many on YT about how to do this & it's one of the better ones. Again, thanks for sharing.

First, thanks for this video...I referred to it several times while putting in my wick! There is one step that got me flustered - getting the wick mechanism to work after installing the assembly back over the center barrel. I found that I needed to simply run the wick-raising mechanism all the way up, then carefully - without disturbing the release ball, slide it over the barrel and down. It works perfectly now. Thought you might want to edit your video to include this if others are/were experiencing the same issue. Now, on to figuring out how to fix my igniter! I have just a bare red wire poking into the square chamber...
@airdave1953
@airdave1953 Жыл бұрын
Update: I found this in the actual manual: 18. (1) Turn the wick adjustment knob to the fully raised position. (2) Pull lightly on the skirt of the wick to remove any slack. (3) Press lightly to secure the skirt to the retainer teeth on the wick cover. (4) You will need to hold the knob in the clockwise position to keep the wick raised. ※ WICK INSTALLATION TIP ** Lock the tip over switch (TOS) by inserting locking pliers or a clothes pin between the TOS plates, preventing the weight from triggering the TOS mechanism as you install the new wick. Install the new wick in the raised position. Remember to remove pliers or clothes pin before reassembling & lighting heater. 19. (5) Replace the wick assembly on the heater with the wick raised. (6) The wick adjuster knob will need to be positioned between the caution and warning labels

@@airdave1953 to keep it in the raised position I insert/ wedge a small piece of wood below the release ball so I don't need to hold the handle while inserting the wick.

Have you ever replaced the wick, and it became tight afterwards? I just replaced mine, and turning the knob feels tight. When i hit the shut off, it doesn't go down. I have to hold the shut off and turn it all the way down. Any suggestions?
@GriffinBenchmark
@GriffinBenchmark Жыл бұрын
Yes, I would say that you have either the wrong wick replacement or it's bound up. Either way it's unsafe and needs replaced or looked at. You could either repeat the process to replace the wick or take that one out and get a new one making sure you match it up with the old one first.
@BEHEMONAUT

Not to tear you down, but I have a lot of experience trying to replace these things on these specific heaters, and I can't get it right no matter how hard I try, and all we use in the heater is kerosene. I look at how many of these things are on the shelves, and I cant help but think its intentional. Hell, you can't even comment on the "official" replacement video, probably because there's more than a few people just like me. I understand why creators turn off comments. I dont think a kerosene wick heater replacement video is going to draw a flood of unmanageable racist rhetoric and offensive language, but the excuse works well for dynaglo. I hope for all your sakes, I just somehow missed something important during the 20 or so times I have failed to properly replace the wick on one of these.
