No man has or can do what Jesus has done for us - He emptied himself n sacrificed His life for us so that we can live. Thank You, Lord Jesus, our Saviour and God! Amen.

Splendid. Thank you. Just one question, merely out of linguistic curiosity: is Mr. Larsson of Swedish origin, but living in the UK and with an Essex accent? I'm simply curious to see whether my understanding of English accents works :)

After listening to 'Child of the Poor' with verses alternated with 'What Child Is This', I been thinking. What if 'Come Thou Long Expected Jesus' sung by an adult choir was interspersed every four lines with the first four lines of 'Oh Come Oh Come Emanuel' sung by a children's choir. A new classic for sure, for sure!

Fantastic production. In these changing times and church is more increasingly seen and felt in a virtual format. We in Co Fermanagh have been putting together weekly services for all to see. Would it be possible to this in our virtual harvest service?

According to the late Brigadier Anne Pearson, when she was in Sweden with her father, Commissioner George Mitchell who was appointed the Territorial Commander in 1921, a Swedish Prime Minister kept a copy of this song on his desk. They are good words, and Flora Larsson's English version is skillfully worked.

Can I say how much of a blessing it is to several of my friends and acquaintances your songs and comments are?! I visit a dear friend in a care home, and she and I were very active Salvation Army members until distance from citadel and ill health meant we could no longer take an active part in services as we used to - She and I would go with our fellow band and songster members, and sometimes just the 2 of us, with our guitars and my keyboard, and we would sing duets together in churches, and care homes etc, all over our county.....Now, due to early onset Parkinson's, my friend is confined to a care home herself - BUT! - Has she stopped singing the Lord's praises?!.... She HAD - Until it occured to me to take in my laptop when visiting my friend in her care home, and as the words are on the screen, we go into the veranda, asking the other residents if they mind, and we play your video's and join in the singing, singing in harmony as we always used to! ... Not only does it bring joy to my friend, but also the care home manager has asked me to bring my laptop in more often, as many of the resident's in the adjoining sitting rooms were enjoying and joining in to! - No one ever said ANY place cannot be the 'House of the Lord' for the time we are singing His prises there, least of all William Booth! God bless you for your video's which are bringing joy and comfort to many in my friend's care home!

This is precious. My childhood family home was named ‘Brantwood’ after this song. Albert Osbourne was a true mystic and his grace-filled words are written on my heart. So glad to have found you, a nostalgic treat for me today. 😀🙏
