​@EtherealFemboy Of course, and while I do see on the other hand what parents might think and want for their kids to be, so long as there's communication between them then it's better if the kid(s) be whom they want to be and be accepted as well as be happy as possible then going through the negativity and God forbid there be regrets. Nice for there to he more positive momentum to continue than negative ones. Least then everyone will be happier.

That's amazing! I've lived alone for four years now, and before that it was roommates. I'm sure my mother knows I'm bi, but I haven't outright said it. She and my little cousin are the only family I still speak to. My little cousin knows though, and is extremely supportive. Ironically it's my conservative neighbors who showed the most support, even encouraging me to find a cute guy to invite to my property ^_^ It's a very strange world. I'm happy you're accepted and that she attended Pride with you! <3

My concern at first was how my dad would react - he's ex-military and fairly traditional in his views. Mum told him, and I had nothing to worry about. The rest of my small family were similarly okay with who I am. I can't wait to take someone to meet them one day - they will be fine about it. And yeah, Pride was amazing. Not only did I go to it, I was there as a volunteer on a stall for my employer as they are the major sponsor of our local event. It was great fun! :3
