Soooo, i got 2nd position and, no, we were not on a stand, names were announced like "Trisha Deb, 2nd position" etc, etc. FIRST OF ALL MY OPPONENT WAS, TALLER, AND HEALTHIER THAN ME AND WAS GIVING ME A DEATH GLARE LIKE SHE WANTED TO CHEW ME ALIVE!..... Anyways... I was relieved that i atleast got a position but later my coach was scolding me like "you could've gotten 1st place why did you leave her?!" Later my bestfriend told me that the other school indirectly cheated. So, bacically rules 1shido: 1warning 2shido: 2warning Haga-something I don't remember: 3warning(disqualified) Ray: bow to each other to start Hajime:start Mate: Stop Ray: bow to each other to stop Ippon: 1point to end the whole match and win(bacically if it is a PERFECT throw you get a ippon) Wazaari: a GOOD but not PERFECT throw 2wazaari= 1Ippon If the opponent is held down for 20seconds under your grip and cant get out you get a ippon and if 10sec you get a wazaari So bacically what happened was i had my opponent pinned down for 15seconds, though i am physically weak i had all my body pressure on her and my teammates were cheering "go Trisha go!" So the opponent's school mates took advantage of this and shouted "Mate", now me, having a weak ear couldn't recognise the voice and also wasn't counting because i was so focused on pinning her down that I thought that 20seconds are complete and i left her thinking the refri shouted "mate" and before that i had also gotten her a "shido" so right now it was a- Her: 1shido Me:1wazaari And from my perspective judo is all about having control over the other respective person and i had at the end i thought that i would win but the refri still gave her the win Not only in my case, • first of all, clips are not allowed a girl had more then 5clips on ger her head. • second of all, when two girls were fighting both of them couldn't do i single point in the 3minuts so the fight should've taken place in the golden hour(fight until no one gets a point or shido) but instead the refri gave win to the girl who didn't even played that well. • third of all, i saw that a child had a kada(it is a religious symbol which is also really sharp) is is not allowed, even i had taken it off before fighting but that girl was not disqualified, instead, she won? I mean yea she gave a good fight but still she could've or maybe had injured her opponent with the kada like i wasn't the fighting her but she could or might had. At the end, i just wanna say that judo is a really great sport and should respect it and I am sure not all tournaments have sh*tty judges.
