Still so amazing! The illustration is great too! I hope the 2nd BGaE would get it's sh*t together and just give us something small, manageable and genuine.

STORYTIME: I'm weirdly having trouble getting deep into BG3 it kinda overwhelms me, BG2 did the same thing it was just... Too big too fast. BG1 had that "Hey, you can shoot magic missle... But you'll only shoot one missle at the beginning." kinda flow to it that has brought me to finish it three times now. BG2 i've beaten (and expo), tried a second but couldnt do it. and BG3 I dunno man i'm just sloggin through. Maybe my attention span is not there for it now I do not know. Anyone else have the same problem?

There is something colorful and nice about BG1 wilderness, much like Heroes of Might and Magic 1-3, or Guild Wars 1 in pre-searing, or even Rollercoaster Tycoon. Similar feelings of childhood.

I really love the color pallet of BG1/2 maps. The foliage and landscapes are so pleasing to look at, it really helps you visualize wondering the world yourself.

The elves living in Denerim were heavily inspired by the medieval Jewish diasporas in Europe. Even the music selected in some way refers to this style. Let's add to this the fact of the lack of foundation of their country and the fight for the survival of their cultural identity. Extremely interesting plot idea.

For some reason I can't shake off the feeling that I've heard this with certain instruments much more pronounced. Though to be fair, I felt that way with some other DA:O tracks as well, so maybe it's just that they got "enhanced" in my memory during gameplay. But I wonder if there's some other version of this that exists, perhaps in DA2 (I'm aware that this exact version plays on the Wounded Cost, but that isn't it either)

Consider the commitment Jaheira brings to her pursuits...the sheer fervor displayed in every adversarial moment; if even a dash of that zest were poured into their amorous adventures, Gorion's Ward and The Harper likely left scores of worn cots up and down The Sword Coast.

Almoust 34 years of my life just past like one day and, when I look to all of it, i'm starting to fell old and tired. World has changed diamentraly, but this one thing, that music, all memories bound with it - will be placed forever in my heart. Thank You Jeremy Soule, wherever you are and whatever you're doing. I wish You well!
