You should look up the master plan for Downtown Houston. Hopefully it really happens but a northern canal is part of the plan which will create a little bit of what you are talking about!

Thanks! Enjoyed the video. I was surprised to see that crime rates and quality of the public school system were not significant factors in appreciation rates. These are two areas I believe the University area could improve on.

Thanks for checking it out, I’m glad that you enjoyed the video! As you might agree, there are so many factors that come into play for appreciation rates of a market area. The two you had mentioned definitely play into the values found within a market area, this analysis is essentially looking at the end result of all factors that determine value. I appreciate your comment and am open to any ideas you might have for future videos. What would you be interested in learning?
