The man saying he not having an answer to the students question of why the GODS of our Land couldn't do anything, the man really needs more knowledge about the tourist site to be honest... From great Togbe's and Chiefs that I've heard people throwing such Questions at them and what I learnt from them was that... Not that the GODS didn't fight for us, they did their best when all this started and was going on... But as the man was saying in his statements, the main people who were selling us as slaves to the slave masters (merchants) were our own people for their selfish needs which some were chiefs and had authorities... And there is a saying which goes, Heaven helps those who helps themselves... So yes the GODS were really fighting for us but the Leaders being chiefs and authorities weren't for the people so how will the help of the GODS reach us... The GODS really fought for us and so every blood of us splits on the ground became forces that helped stood against the slaves masters rule... It's the GODS and the blood of our ancestors which spoke for us in this slave trade and made us free from their colonial rule... Our slave masters have nothing better to offer us...And it's in the same scenario what is happening now in Ghana, most Ghanaians are suffering because the leaders are not thinking about the common Citizen but their own bellies and they used the bible to swear...so if you don't have good leaders in place, no matter how much GOD intervens or cry upon him to change the country, the leaders are not ready for it and it's will takes years or time itself to make things change!!!#Africanspirituality #Immancitapateyourselffrommentalslavery #Nananom
