I’m trying to set up CubeSX on my GameCube to play PS1 ISOs. I know I’ll need Swiss to load everything, but I’m not sure what other files or steps are required to get it all running. What files do I need to put on the SD card besides the CubeSX emulator itself? How should the file structure on the SD card look? Are there any specific BIOS files or configurations I need for CubeSX to run PS1 ISOs smoothly? Any tips for compatibility or performance improvements when running PS1 games? I’m using an the GC-Loader, any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

I think all the info is in the Github page, but I have the files set up like this: sd:/wiisx/bios/ for the bios (needs to be SCPH1001.BIN) sd:/wiisx/isos/ for the games sd:/ for the emu itself I'm pretty sure the emu and the games can go in any folder you want, but the bios HAS to go in wiisx/bios. The first folder HAS to be called wiisx. The emu won't detect it if it's called cubesx or anything else. To play, just load the emu file in Swiss and then do what I showed in the video (load ISO, load from SD, navigate to the folder with the game you want, load the .cue file, and then go to play game). As for compatibility, the games in this video are all the ones I tried and as you can see, some run better than others, but I couldn't tell you why. I'm guessing you could get some improvements by going into settings and changing stuff, but I didn't mess around with that. Also, I didn't bother changing controller configurations, but I'm guessing you'll have to if actually want to play these games for more than a few minutes. Hope that helps!

Hi, could you kindly make a tutorial on how to play? I followed the instructions on Github where I downloaded the dkbros.zip package, but I absolutely can't play, the package miss the dkbros.exe. It just starts me off with classic Donkey Kong.

I did it with a real capture pak in a real Nintendo 64, but someone here in the comments let me know you can also import images into a game file using this program: github.com/LuigiBlood/mfs_manager (I've never used it myself)

I remember seeing an infomercial for this game and the console on KZbin in the 2017, Captain Lou reprised his role as Mario and his animation was really smooth, like the earlier Charlie Brown movies. Luigi was in the commercial too and Danny Wells reprised his role too. Both talked about the amazing quality of the Famicom CD and how powerful it was compared to the Sega CD, they also openly roasted Sonic the Hedgehog. They brought up how the Mario CD was like the Mario game you never knew and was an adventure like no other. The end slogan I remember was “Now you’re playing with CD power” or something.
