I vaguely remember my first (and only) time playing on mario kart ds online. The people from japan i was up against were so laggy, like they'd appear in front of me then be miles ahead or behind me. It was trippy. Also those people would fall off the map 200 times over and they would respawn on the map some other location. This looks much smoother then that lol

The new Team Battle has 50 players instead of 99 players. It is why the tutorial's 50-player mode, F-Zero 50, is no longer the only thing to have 50 players in F-Zero 99. Additionally, in the new Team Battle, the Safe Rank is 50 in the first lap, 45 in the second lap, 40 in the third lap, and 35 in the fourth and final lap, matching exactly what the tutorial's 50-player mode used for its Safe Zone. The pink team references the Fire Stingray, the green team references the Wild Goose, and pink and green were the only particularly contrasting duo for the old Team Battle's two teams. As for the three new teams, blue obviously represents the Blue Falcon, yellow is a nod to the Golden Fox, and white could be a stand-in for the Gray Bumpers. I am known as the Great 99-Ifier because I come up with ways to give any game a 99-player battle royale remake. Zuma 99 would be made so that clearing balls from your track sends these stones to another player's track, getting closer to the skull at the end of the other player's path.
